Emily Bett Rickards was born in July of 1991. She is a Canadian actress best known for her role for her role as Felicity in The CW's TV show Arrow. Rickards was raised and was born in British Columbia. Beginning on her career path as a child, she began to explore dance and theatre hoping to eventually becoming more involved in acting. When she graduated early from high school, she attended Vancouver Film School and completed acting essentials. She attended an audition at an open call after completing the program. This was the catalyst for her getting signed with an agent. Alida Vocal Studio, Vancouver is where she studied. Initially signed as a single-episode guest on the show, her relationship with the show's star Stephen Amell coupled with positive response from the fans and her funny quips earned her being first signed to be a regular co-star for all of the remaining episodes of the season.
